Kampung Kamboja Boutique Hotel was created as a home as much as a hotel.

The property sits in a peaceful setting away from the busiest streets of Siem Reap, surrounded by tropical greenery and the Cambodian countryside.

The garden, architecture, furniture and decorative objects have all been chosen or created with the idea that the hotel should feel connected to Cambodia.

Many of the details have a story.

Native koki wood was used in the construction and furniture. The buildings were developed with Khmer craftspeople, with traditional hand craftsmanship playing an important role.

The garden itself took years to create, growing from a piece of land with only two trees into a lush tropical environment of palms, orchids, flowering plants and quiet places to sit.

We believe that the objects around us should be interesting enough to make you stop and look.

Throughout the property you will find locally made decorative pieces and traditional crafts.

Among them are handcrafted food coverings made in Kampong Chhnang Province by members of Cambodia’s Cham ethnic minority community.
